Intelligent Warehouse Picking Improvement Model for e-Logistics Warehouse Using Single Picker Routing Problem and Wave Picking

Abstract— The development and use of technological innovations have changed people's behavior from an industrial society to information society. It can be seen in the increase consumption patterns trading through physical stores (offline) electronic systems, often referred as e-commerce. Logistics services are distribution actors downstream line which tasked with delivering products fulfillment center e-commerce end customer. uncertainty number requests is biggest challenge for logistics service players. growth has also led sales volume given rise a new generation warehouses that specifically tailored special needs online retailers who directly serve demands end-customers business-to-consumer (B2C) segment. Traditional warehousing systems cannot handle orders characteristics many transactions but smaller sizes. In addition, required fast process warehouse because shipments must made on same day. this study, author aims perform calculations find optimal order picking time warehouse, so processed faster by comparing using ordinary Single Picker Routing Problem (SPRP) combined concept wave Genetic Algorithm (GA). Based theoretical study paper, combination between SPRP reduce 42.28% time.
